"Pulse"- a proud history
Some 14 years ago Phil Dupont began playing drums and singing in Ozzie's Country Band with Bob "Ozzie" Osgood. About 5 years after that Carl Brogan joined Ozzie's Country Band as lead guitarist and singer. Phil and Carl soon realized how much they had in common personally, professionally and musically. They began adding two, three and four part harmonies to Ozzie's lead vocals. This added greatly to the sound of the band and began to differentiate Ozzie's Country Band from other bands in the area. Phil and Carl's combination of musical and vocal talents combined to form a truly symbiotic relationship.
With the announcement of Ozzie's retirement from the band which would take place at the end of 2009 Phil and Carl decided to join forces and create a new band. Originally naming the band CPR they soon found out that a nationally known band of that name already existed so the new band was
re-named PULSE "Great Live Music".
With that in mind we feel we owe much to our former band leader Bob "Ozzie" Osgood and wish to offer him the very best on his retirement. Ozzie will continue to make guest appearances with PULSE from time to time. Please check our schedule of events to keep up to date on the band schedule and Ozzie's upcoming appearances with PULSE.
